The Government of India has Banned 118 chinese mobile applications, including top social media platforms such as TikTok, WECHAT and HELO, to counter the threat posed by these applications to the country's "sovereignty and security".
I think government has taken well step for the security purpose of the country In a statement, the ministry of electronics and IT has said that "in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.
“The Chinese already have high-end technology and 5G speed, which make it much easier for them to track precise locations and other details,” the Commodore explained. “So by banning these apps, we have saved our people from exploitation by the Chinese by accessing their information.
